Where is The Stapleton located?

The Stapleton is located within Powerscourt House, on South William Street in Dublin 2 — right in the heart of the city’s Georgian Quarter. Our entrance is through the main Powerscourt Townhouse doors.

Do I need a reservation?

Walk-ins are always welcome and a reservation is not required to join us at The Stapleton. Sunday to Wednesday is walk-in only. We do offer a select number of tables for reservation from Thursday to Saturday. You can book these tables directly through our website or by contacting our team. If you would like to book for a group, please email us at book@the stapleton.ie.

What are your opening hours?

We’re open Wednesday to Friday from 4pm and Saturday and Sunday from 1pm. Friday and Saturday, we are open late, with extended hours for private events and special occasions. Seasonal hours may vary — please check our website or social channels for the latest updates.

Do you serve food?

We don’t serve food, we are a drinks-focused venue.

Can I host a private event at The Stapleton?

Absolutely. The venue can be reserved in part or in full for private events, launch parties, or corporate gatherings. The Wingfield Lounge accommodates up to 60 guests, while exclusive hire is available for up to 250 guests. Please email us at events@eclective.ie to find out more.

Is The Stapleton available for filming or photoshoots?

Yes, on a limited basis. Due to the building’s heritage status, all requests are subject to approval. Please email media@eclective.ie with details of your project.
